Just got a expresso machine…what’s the best tasting to make?
My husband got me an expresso/coffee machine for Christmas. What kind of coffee should I buy to make a good tasting expresso or cappucino? I don’t care for coffee plain, but I love cappucinos! How can I make one that tastes really good at home?? Thanks!!!
You will learn how to make the kind YOU like, and how much milk or cream to put in it, by trial and error.
I usually use espresso or french roast, and of the dark, southern European roasts are good…you want to grind it REALLY fine. If you have your own grinder, set it for the finest possible. If you use the ones at the store, set it for “espresso”.
Are there directions with the machine?
Ask your barrista what they use. I was told French Roast is most popular, because it’s smoother than espresso, but I’ll buy any of them.
If you can get Daz Bog brand, their White Nights Espresso is SUPERB!!!
