Caffeine content in coffee beans in mg if eaten?
I eat coffee beans (roasted) a light roast like breakfast blend, and am curious the caffeine content per bean
Any help is appreciated,

Coffee beans vary dramatically in size, so there’s no way to give a “per bean” measurement. You can roughly figure it out by weight, though.
Arabica coffee averages around 2-2.4% caffeine, by weight. That means if you eat 10g (3.5oz) of coffee beans, you’re consuming around 200mg of caffeine. The main thing is that you won’t absorb it all since you won’t have pulverized it by chewing the way a grinder would. My guess is that you probably wouldn’t absorb more than 50% (probably less), but that’s still around the same as a cup of coffee.
